Litigation AttorneyWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney licensed in Massachusetts with a strong background in the residential foreclosure process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing foreclosure-related litigation, including case file and title review, and court representation. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic legal team that values efficiency, compliance, and client-focused representation in creditors' rights and foreclosure law.Essential FunctionsManage cases related to foreclosure, title curative/title claims, and post-judgment litigationReview title issues and identify resolution strategiesConduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, opinions, and memorandaRepresent clients in court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other appearancesAnalyze cases, handle discovery, and develop litigation strategiesCommunicate effectively with clients, providing legal guidance and updatesMaintain case management reports and oversee paralegal coordinationAchieve monthly billable hour requirements and review pre-billsEnsure compliance with all firm and court requirementsMust-HavesActive Massachusetts Bar Membership (in good standing)Strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate as part of a teamProven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficientlyRequired SkillsStrong knowledge of residential foreclosure process and general real estate lawHands-on litigation experience, including title curative/title claims and post-judgment litigationAbility to review and analyze pre- and post-judgment title issuesProficiency in drafting substantive pleadings, motions, and memorandaExcellent oral and written communication and courtroom presentation skillsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience handling FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claimsPrior work in creditor rightsAdmission in Rhode Island or New Hampshire BarsCommercial real estate law experienceYears of ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of civil litigation/trial experiencePreference for residential or commercial real estate, foreclosure, and creditors' rights backgroundIndustry Experience: Residential Foreclosureand real estate law, particularly in creditors' rights and foreclosureEducation RequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive member in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
