Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney licensed in Massachusetts with a strong background in the residential foreclosure process. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling foreclosure-related litigation, from reviewing case files and titles to representing clients in court. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic legal team focused on delivering efficient, compliant, and client-focused representation in the creditors' rights and foreclosure space.
Must-Haves
  • Massachusetts Bar, member in good standing
  • Admission in the Rhode Island and New Hampshire Bars preferred
  • 3-5 years of civil litigation/trial experience
Experience in:
  • Residential or commercial real estate
  • Foreclosure
  • FDCPA, RESPA, and TILA claims
  • Creditor rights
Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze pre- and post-judgment title issues to ensure marketable title or identify resolution options
  • Conduct legal research
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal opinions, and memoranda
  • Appear at court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other proceedings
  • Analyze cases, manage discovery, and assist clients with discovery responses and document review
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide legal advice on strategies and outcomes
  • Develop and implement litigation plans for efficient case resolution
  • Maintain case management status reports and collaborate with paralegals
  • Manage a high-volume workload efficiently
  • Meet monthly billable hour requirements
  • Review and approve pre-bills
Required Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of:
Residential foreclosure process
General real estate law
Litigation
Title curative / title claims
Post-judgment litigation
Experience with Microsoft Suite and case management software
Strong courtroom presence (civil jury or non-jury trial experience)
Attention to detail, organization, and ability to multi-task
Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
Education & Certification
J.D. from an accredited law school
Massachusetts Bar (required)
Rhode Island and New Hampshire Bars (preferred)
