Chiumento Law, PLLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing legal team in Palm Coast, Florida.
This position offers a unique opportunity for an attorney seeking long-term professional growth within an established and highly respected law firm serving the community for more than 50 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong litigation skills, sound judgment, professionalism under pressure, and a genuine commitment to client service.
The attorney will handle a broad range of litigation matters, including civil and family law disputes, contested hearings, motion practice, discovery, negotiations, and trial preparation. This role provides significant courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, mentorship, and leadership development opportunities.

Responsibilities
Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and related legal documents
Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials
Communicate effectively with clients regarding case status and legal guidance
Work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Maintain organized case management, billing, and deadline compliance
Contribute to firm growth initiatives and professional development efforts
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar
Minimum of 4–5 years of meaningful litigation experience preferred
Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills
Ability to independently manage a caseload
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated professionalism, emotional intelligence, and leadership potential
Preferred Experience
Family law and/or general civil litigation experience
Trial and contested hearing experience
Experience handling high-conflict matters and complex client relationships
Familiarity with legal technology and case management software
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation starting at $110,000+ annually, commensurate with experience

This is an in-person position based in Palm Coast, Florida.
Preference will be given to candidates residing in Flagler County. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates willing to relocate within six months.
