Malaby & Bradley, LLC is a defense litigation boutique law firm representing clients in a variety of complex litigation matters. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our growing defense team.

The Position
We are seeking 2 Attorneys 2–8 years of litigation experience to handle a diverse caseload from inception through trial as part of a coordinated defense litigation team.
The ideal candidates will have experience in general liability and insurance defense litigation and possess strong legal research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 2-8 years of litigation experience
- Experience handling general liability and/or insurance defense matters
- Experience with premises liability, construction, construction defect, New York Labor Law, asbestos, or toxic tort litigation is a plus
- Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative defense team
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and work on multiple cases simultaneously from inception through trial
- Attend and conduct depositions involving various types of defendants and products
- Draft client reports, motions, pretrial disclosures, settlement releases, and other legal filings
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
- Prepare for and participate in court conferences, hearings, and motion practice
- Argue motions and appear before New York judges
- Participate in arguments and conferences before the Special Master
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, co-counsel, experts, and other litigation professionals
- Assist with all aspects of case preparation and defense strategy
