Appellate Litigation Associate
Location: Long Island, NY (Hybrid)
Salary – $140K - $180K
A specialized litigation boutique in New York, is seeking an experienced Appellate Litigation Associate to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 3+ years of civil litigation experience who wants to work on complex legal issues, develop advanced litigation strategies, and build a long-term career in a focused practice.
What You’ll Do:
- Research and analyze complex legal issues involving personal injury, medical malpractice, and New York Labor Law
- Draft appellate briefs, legal memoranda, motions, and other persuasive legal documents
- Evaluate trial records and identify issues that may support appeals or post-trial motions
- Collaborate with trial counsel on litigation strategy, case evaluation, and appellate advocacy
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Experience with complex civil litigation, appellate matters, or insurance defense is an advantage
