A well-regarded Florida litigation firm with a national reputation for high-profile commercial and media work is seeking a mid-level litigation associate to join its team. The firm is busy and growing, and is looking for an attorney who can work with a strong degree of independence on general commercial litigation matters.
About the Firm
The firm regularly represents media organizations and journalists in matters involving truth, defamation, and freedom of the press, and has been involved in several high-profile, closely watched cases over the past year, including litigation against a major journalism institution. The firm's litigators also handle:
- Complex commercial litigation, including major merger-related disputes
- Advisory work for government agencies and other law firms, including pay equity audits
- Multi-jurisdictional trial work, including recent matters in Delaware against top-tier opposing counsel

Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of practice
- Ability to work independently and manage matters with limited supervision
- Strong writing, research, and courtroom-readiness
- Florida Bar Admission in good standing
- Billable expectation of approximately 1,600 hours annually, with additional hours expected during active trial periods
- Compensation is negotiable and scales with hours worked
