A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its dynamic litigation practice in San Francisco. This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated commercial disputes across a variety of industries, providing meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced trial attorneys on high-stakes matters from inception through resolution.
- Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies
- Manage discovery, including written discovery, document review, and depositions
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients on case strategy and risk assessment
- Work on a broad range of business disputes, including contract, business tort, and other complex commercial matters
Qualifications
- 4-7 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm environment
- Experience handling complex business disputes and managing significant portions of litigation matters
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Outstanding academic credentials required
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a litigation team

Compensation
$225,000–$330,000 annually (commensurate with experience), plus eligibility for an hours-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
