A nationally recognized litigation firm is looking to add a Complex Litigation Attorney to its growing California practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a civil litigator looking for sophisticated, high-exposure matters, meaningful responsibility and strong courtroom experience, while maintaining the flexibility of a hybrid working model.
You’ll work alongside experienced trial attorneys on complex matters involving catastrophic injury, transportation, trucking, automotive claims, wrongful death and other significant civil disputes .
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery and other substantive legal documents
- Taking and defending depositions
- Attending hearings, mediations and arbitrations
- Developing case strategy and working directly with clients
- Preparing matters for trial and gaining meaningful courtroom exposure
What We’re Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong discovery, deposition and motion practice experience
- Excellent legal writing, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage matters and deadlines
