Litigation Associate (0-5 Years Experience)

Salary: $185,000 - $205,000 DOE + Bonus Eligible
Trustpoint.One is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 100 law firm seeking to add a Litigation Associate to its expanding Litigation Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious attorney looking to gain significant hands‑on litigation and trial experience while working on sophisticated, high-profile product liability and complex litigation matters.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule and may be based in either Los Angeles or San Diego, California .
About the Role
Attorneys in this practice represent manufacturers and corporate clients nationwide in complex litigation matters, including single‑plaintiff claims and mass tort litigation. The team serves as national coordinating counsel in state and federal courts across a broad range of industries, including:
- Pharmaceuticals
- Automotive
- Other product liability matters
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support complex litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle.
- Draft, argue, and respond to discovery motions and other substantive motions.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Manage document review, production, and case files.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy memoranda.
- Assist with trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
- Collaborate closely with partners, clients, experts, and litigation support teams.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional legal service.
- Take ownership of cases and contribute to a growing practice.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar.
- 0-5 years of litigation experience.
- Experience in complex litigation and/or product liability matters preferred.
- Experience gained at a mid‑sized or large law firm is a plus.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
