Applicants must be licensed to practice in California.Duties and Responsibilities:Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency chargesAdvise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issuesClass Action/PAGA experience preferred but not requiredRepresent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete casesSkills and Educational Requirements:JD from ABA accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials4+ years of experience (to be considered for an Associate role) handling California employment litigationTo be eligible for consideration for an Of Counsel level remote role, you must generally have at least 9+ of relevant California experience and a demonstrated ability to operate in a first chair capacityMust be admitted to the CA state bar and comply with all ethical requirements in the resident state, including being barred if required.Understanding of current agency (state and federal) proceduresExcellent written and oral communication skillsAttention to detail and commitment to excellenceAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational, time management, and project management skillsCommitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamworkFor California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC Region, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington State, the expected salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $216,000.
