A leading New York City real estate litigation platform is adding a litigation associate with strong Housing Court experience to its owner-side practice.
This is a hands‑on courtroom role offering immediate responsibility and consistent appearances, designed for attorneys who want to actively manage cases while building toward broader litigation exposure over time.
The Role
- Independently manage summary proceedings from commencement through resolution
- Appear regularly in NYC Housing Court with full ownership of matters
- Draft motions, pleadings, stipulations, and settlement agreements
- Handle non-payment, holdover, nuisance, and regulatory matters
- Support Supreme Court litigation as part of broader case strategy
Background
- 4+ years of real estate litigation experience
- Strong NYC Housing Court experience is required
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload
- Experience representing landlords, owners, or managing agents
- Admitted in New York and in good standing
- Portable business is not required.
