Litigation Associate

A well-established law firm seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with 3–4+ years of experience to join any of their California offices.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated coverage practice representing national and international insurers in complex matters across the country. The team handles coverage disputes involving pollution, toxic tort, asbestos, construction defect, product liability, E&O, and excess liability , among other areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategy for complex insurance coverage litigation
• Analyze policies and claims and advise clients on coverage issues
• Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery, and coverage analyses
• Take and defend depositions
• Handle matters in state and federal court
• Attend hearings and mediations
• Work directly with clients and help supervise junior attorneys and paralegals

Qualifications:

• 3–4+ years of insurance coverage litigation experience
• State and federal court experience
• New York Bar admission required
• New Jersey Bar admission strongly preferred
• Strong academic credentials, research, writing, and analytical skills
