Litigation Associate (Los Angeles, San Diego, or San Francisco)

A nationally recognized, growth-oriented law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate Attorney to join its California litigation team, based out of Los Angeles, San Diego or San Francisco. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated attorney with strong litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative legal environment and is looking to advance their career with a respected multidisciplinary practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a broad range of complex litigation matters
• Handle all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation
• Draft, review, and argue motions
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Prepare witnesses and exhibits for hearings and trial
• Utilize e-discovery platforms and technology-assisted review tools
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop effective case strategies
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide high-quality legal service

Qualifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
• Experience with motion practice, depositions, trial preparation and courtroom proceedings, case file management, E-discovery software and litigation technology
• Excellent legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $165,000 - $185,000 annually

Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market conditions. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
