Property Coverage Litigation Associate (2-5 Years)
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a variety of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Personal injury litigation
- Business and commercial disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Products liability matters
- Conduct written discovery and manage document production
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents
- Participate in case strategy development and client communications
- Work collaboratively with partners and senior attorneys to advance litigation objectives
- Manage deadlines and case responsibilities in a fast-paced practice
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the California Bar
- 2-5 years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Experience handling discovery and depositions
- Exposure to one or more of the following areas preferred:
- Products liability
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and case management abilities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
