DBLF Injury Lawyers is a Nevada law firm representing injured people in personal injury and workers’ compensation matters. Founded in 2006 and based in Henderson, Nevada, we have built our practice around aggressive advocacy, personal service, and results.

We are growing our litigation practice and are looking for an experienced attorney who wants to litigate cases, take depositions, argue motions, and try cases.

The Position

DBLF Injury Lawyers is seeking a Nevada-licensed Litigation Associate with at least 5 years of litigation experience to join our Henderson office.

This is not a position for an attorney who wants to simply manage files and settle cases from behind a desk. We are looking for someone who enjoys litigation and wants meaningful responsibility for cases.

The attorney will handle personal injury litigation from filing through resolution or trial, including:

• Drafting and arguing motions
• Written discovery and discovery disputes
• Taking and defending depositions
• Expert discovery and depositions
• Court appearances and hearings
• Case strategy and evaluation
• Mediation and settlement negotiations
• Trial preparation
• Jury trials

The attorney will work closely with the firm's partners, attorneys, and litigation staff while having substantial responsibility for his or her own cases.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Bar license in good standing required
• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
• Significant deposition and courtroom experience
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Ability to independently manage litigation deadlines and caseload
• Trial experience strongly preferred
• Personal injury or insurance defense experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong judgment, work ethic, and communication skills

We are particularly interested in attorneys coming from plaintiff-side litigation, insurance defense, civil litigation, or other litigation-heavy practices who want more opportunities to actually litigate and try cases.

Compensation

Compensation will be competitive and based on experience , with the final compensation package negotiated based upon the candidate's background, litigation experience, and ability to contribute to the firm's litigation practice.
