$120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location

St. Louis, MO – Primarily on-site with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week. Enjoy the benefits of in-person collaboration while maintaining some flexibility in your schedule.

Note

Candidates must hold an active Missouri law license and have 3+ years of civil litigation experience. Civil defense litigation experience is preferred, and experience with Jones Act or FELA matters is especially welcome.

Job Description

• Handle complex civil litigation matters from initial investigation through resolution or trial.
• Draft persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, discovery, and case strategy development.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in court proceedings.
• Prepare cases for hearings, mediations, settlements, and trials.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on sophisticated litigation, including civil defense and maritime-related matters.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide practical, strategic legal guidance.

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Bar license required.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Civil defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Jones Act, FELA, or maritime litigation experience is a plus, not required.
• Deposition, courtroom, and trial preparation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing multiple litigation matters.
• Illinois Bar admission is a plus.
