Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with complex civil litigation matters, with an emphasis on product liability and toxic tort cases.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal documents.
  • Participate in discovery, including document review, discovery requests and responses, and related case preparation.
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and other litigation proceedings.
  • Analyze factual and legal issues and assist with developing case strategies.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members.
  • Manage multiple matters and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Support attorneys on additional complex litigation matters, which may include medical malpractice, employment, and business/commercial disputes.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong interest in developing a practice focused on product liability and/or toxic tort litigation.
  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also handling assignments independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Prior product liability or toxic tort experience is preferred but not required.
