Experienced Employment Litigation Attorney (Leadership Opportunity) A respected and growing Maryland law practice is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to lead and expand an established employment law practice. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial attorney to take ownership of an existing book of employment matters while helping shape the future direction of the practice.
The ideal candidate will bring deep employment law expertise, strong litigation skills, excellent client relationship management abilities, and a desire to build and mentor a growing team. Advise clients on a wide range of employment law issues and workforce-related matters. Represent employers and business clients in litigation, arbitration, mediation, and administrative proceedings. Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenants, severance agreements, workplace policies, and related documents. Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution. Provide strategic counseling on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Develop and expand client relationships through networking, referrals, and business development initiatives. Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff. from an accredited law school. Minimum of 5 years of employment law experience, including litigation. Strong knowledge of employment statutes, regulations, and workplace compliance requirements. Familiarity with administrative agencies and employment-related proceedings. Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Leadership mindset with the desire to help build and grow a practice. Deep employment law expertise. Strong litigation skills.
