Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Linux System Administration Analyst will provide production and non-production support for a large-scale Unix/Linux environment, managing incidents, system maintenance, and operational troubleshooting across various platforms including RHEL and VMware. Key responsibilities Provide comprehensive Linux/Unix server support, including incident management and system maintenance Administer RHEL servers, storage, networking, and system patches while supporting VMware environments Ensure compliance with FISMA-aligned security controls and participate in infrastructure projects and automation initiatives Required qualifications 7+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux, including 4+ years administering RHEL 6/7/8/9/10 2+ years of experience with VMware ESX and strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration and storage management Experience supporting production systems within regulated environments, focusing on security controls and compliance RHCSA certification is mandatory Strong troubleshooting skills and effective communication with technical teams and stakeholders
