Linux Systems AdministratorIn this role, you will:Install and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux EnvironmentConfiguration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux serversDeployment and migration of applications and Oracle databasesAdminister, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux SystemsWrite and troubleshoot Linux Shell ScriptsFault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptionsProactively monitoring system performance and capacity planningManage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers.ResponsibilitiesJob Specific Functions:Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime serviceEngineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needsMaintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environmentsProvide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environmentCollaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processesDocumentation of infrastructure architecture, processes and operating proceduresQualificationsYou have: (required)Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.3 years experience in Linux Server administration (Redhat/OEL)Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
