Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 / hourDutiesLine Operator Responsibilities:Perform all duties in a non-climate-controlled environmentResponsible for understanding and ensuring safety standards are respectedConduct first level of maintenance (PMs) and first piece inspection at the start of shift (if applicable)Maintain 5S standardsDetect problems (deviations from standards) in safety, quality, and efficientlyIn case a problem is detected, stop and apply the appropriate reactivity procedureActively participate in the improvements proposal programEnsure cleanliness and safety of each workstationCommunicate any supplies shortage to the team lead at the beginning, during, and after shiftInvolvement in continuous improvement through participation in VPS workshopsMaterial Handler Responsibilities:Responsible for the application of safety standards and for adhering to V5000, TS16949, V1000, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 standards using QRQC methodology (All functions), On the Job Training (OJT) of peers and Stop Scrap procedures (related to all manufacturing) where applicableObtain Valeo certification to safely operate fork trucksRemove full finish goods containers from production areas and replace with empty finish goods containersOperators must be able to work overtime without / limited notice for coverage of call-insOperators have to perform safety checks on equipment at the start of their shiftCell phones are not allowed to be used while operating powered equipmentOperators must understand that they are a support function to the production linesRequirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old.
