Line Cook
We're looking for a Line Cook who treats the kitchen as a discipline, not just a job. This role demands speed, precision, and consistency under pressure — someone who takes pride in every plate that leaves the pass, no exceptions.
Responsibilities
- Execute all stations to spec, maintaining consistency in taste, portion, and presentation on every ticket
- Work efficiently during high-volume service without sacrificing quality or safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and code-compliant station at all times
- Prep ingredients ahead of service to ensure the line is fully stocked and ready
- Communicate clearly and effectively with fellow cooks, expo, and front-of-house staff
- Monitor food quality and freshness, discarding anything that doesn't meet standard
- Follow all recipes and plating guides precisely, while flagging opportunities for improvement
- Uphold rigorous food safety and sanitation practices in accordance with health codes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Proven ability to work multiple stations and adapt quickly under pressure
- Strong knife skills and working knowledge of classic culinary techniques
- Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for extended periods in a physically demanding environment
- A team-first mentality with a low tolerance for cutting corners
If you hold yourself to a higher standard and want to be part of a kitchen that does the same, we want to hear from you.
