Experienced Line Cook – Japanese Restaurant
Izakaya MEW is looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Midtown Manhattan.
We are a high-volume, fast-paced Japanese restaurant , and we are looking for someone who can keep up with a very busy service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience required
- Experience working in a Japanese restaurant is strongly preferred
- Experience in a high-volume, busy restaurant is a must
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Strong knife skills and kitchen fundamentals
- Able to follow recipes, portioning, and plating standards
- Maintain a clean and organized station
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Must be comfortable working during very busy lunch and dinner services
We are looking for someone who already has solid kitchen experience and can step into a fast-paced restaurant environment.
