Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to our recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. The ideal candidate works well under pressure, moves with urgency, and takes pride in teamwork and food quality.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and portion standards
Operate the wok station and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Maintain speed and consistency during busy service periods
Ensure food quality, presentation, and temperature standards are met
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Keep kitchen stations clean and organized throughout the shift
Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and restocking
Communicate clearly with team members and management
Support opening and closing duties
Qualifications
Previous experience as a line cook required
Experience with Asian cuisine or wok cooking is a strong plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong sense of urgency and time management
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
