Rendang Republic is a vibrant Indonesian restaurant dedicated to sharing the bold, authentic flavors of Indonesia. From slow-braised beef rendang to freshly prepared sambals and traditional street food favorites, we pride ourselves on quality ingredients, consistency, and warm hospitality.

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards of food quality and cleanliness, and is excited to learn and execute authentic Indonesian cuisine.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Rendang Republic recipes and standards

• Execute prep tasks including chopping, marinating, portioning, and sauce preparation

• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards

• Ensure consistent plate presentation and portion control

• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to kitchen management

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout service

• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries

• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

• 1+ year of line cook or relevant kitchen experience preferred

• Experience with Southeast Asian cuisine is a plus (training provided)

• Strong knife skills and understanding of kitchen equipment

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
