Line Cook

Mango Bay is seeking an experienced, dependable, and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in producing high-quality dishes, and works well as part of a team. This position requires consistency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and kitchen cleanliness.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Mango Bay recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock assigned stations before service.
• Ensure all food is prepared accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout each shift.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Properly label, date, and store food items.
• Monitor food quality and notify management of any inventory shortages.
• Assist with prep work and kitchen closing duties.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor during busy service periods.

• Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
