Lighting Services Engineer 1
Location: Enterprise, Alabama (Fieldwork required)
Qualifications:
* Preferred: Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
* Considered: Distribution Specialist with relevant experience
* Desired Experience:
* Southern Company (SOCO) Co-op experience
* SOCO Distribution/Transmission experience
* SOCO Lighting Design experience
Required Skills:
* Ability to work independently
* Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
* Effective communication skills
* High attention to detail
Job Requirements:
* Valid driver's license
* Access to a personal car or truck for work-related travel
* Ability to work in varying temperatures (Alabama summer and winter conditions)
* Comfortable walking on uneven terrain
* Ability to use basic tools (e.g., hammering stakes into the ground)
* Proficiency with computer programs, including Microsoft Office and priority APC systems
