Job Description

Location: Clearwater, FL (onsite with field travel, mileage expensed)

Insight Global is seeking one entry-level Lighting Designer for a power distribution client in the Greater Orlando Area. This position will support the Zephyrhills region and sit in Clearwater.

This is a client-facing role with regular field work and customer travel. The Lighting Designer will work directly with residential and commercial customers requesting new lighting installations and will support projects from initial field assessment through design, billing, permitting, and handoff to construction. The candidate would sit onsite at an operation facility in Clearwater, FL, and will travel throughout Zephyrhills/South Coastal to meet with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  Meet directly with residential and commercial customers requesting new lighting installations

  Conduct field assessments to evaluate site conditions and installation requirements

  Perform lighting design work in accordance with utility standards and customer needs

  n

  Prepare customer billing and cost documentation

  n

• n

  Coordinate project details and send scheduling information to construction teams

  n

• n

  Work with internal teams on permitting and approvals

  n

• n

  Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the design phase

• n

  Travel to job sites and customer locations as required

  n
