Material HandlerAs a Material Handler, you'll ship, receive, package, count and route material, complete associated paperwork and/or operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc. Primary responsibilities include coordinating shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments. You will be responsible for assigned picking, inventorying, and packaging.
You will route packaging materials to proper departments, instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems. You will set up locations in ERP and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer. You will arrange stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility.
