(About the Role)
Join the dynamic Beale AFB MOD Team as a Light Industrial - Electrical Technician and play a critical role in supporting advanced avionic tech refresh projects. This position offers hands-on involvement with leading-edge aircraft electrical and environmental systems in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Your expertise will directly enhance operational readiness and technical excellence on the front lines of aerospace innovation.
(Responsibilities)
- Terminate, route, and build connectors/cannon plugs for aircraft systems
- Repair, construct, install, troubleshoot, and maintain routine electrical systems and equipment
- Cut, thread, bend, couple, and strap conduit for electrical installations
- Measure, cut, and install wire and conduit to specified lengths
- Install, repair, or replace switch boxes, lights, plugs, sockets, fuses, and extension cords
- Disassemble and prepare motors, generators, and similar equipment for repair
- Conduct troubleshooting for electrical malfunctions, including inspection of circuits, wiring, shielding, and grounding
- Test electrical equipment for safety, efficiency, and code compliance
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and layouts using specialized electrical hand tools and measuring devices
(Required Skills and Experience)
- 15 years of hands-on electrical technician experience, preferably in aviation or military settings
- Prior military service, USAF 7 Level or equivalent (Journeyman)
- 2-4 years MOD Team experience
- Proficient in connector/cannon plug termination and installation
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specifications

- Fighter aircraft experience
- Advanced avionic system knowledge
