Job Title
Responsible for the safety/supervision of the public, and members of the City's swimming pools at the Kinston Community Center.
Essential Functions
- Monitor pool area to ensure safety of all participants.
- Perform rescue operations as needed.
- Ensure pools and pool areas are clean and usable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Minimum Qualifications
- Must possess current Lifeguard certification.
- Must possess current CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification.
- Must meet minimum age requirement of 15 years old.
- Must adhere to all Parks and Recreation standards.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays and have a flexible schedule.
