Lifeguards - Community Education-Wylie Pool
Rate of Pay: Pay starts at $13.73/hour - Must be 18 years or older
Job Summary: Dexter Community Education is seeking certified lifeguards to ensure the safety of participants during a variety of aquatic programs. Lifeguards will supervise swim lessons, open swim sessions, and team practices for both swim and dive. Positions are part-time with flexible scheduling available across weekday mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Required Licenses/Certificates:
- Current Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding & CPR-PR
- Fingerprinting and criminal check required
Qualifications:
- Current Red Cross certificates in Lifeguarding & CPR-PR
- Responsible & reliable
- Able to work with children and adults
- Able to enforce pool rules
- Able to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations
Able to maintain a safe pool environment for all patrons
