Job Summary
Under the direction of the Aquatics Program and Facilities Use Supervisor, this position observes students and patrons at an assigned aquatics center; performs rescue and first aid duties, maintains a sanitary and safe swimming pool and deck, assuring healthy and safe conditions for physical education, instructional programs, and athletic and special events; performs minor maintenance and periodic water testing activities.
Requirements / Qualifications

Hours - Hours vary; weekends, mornings, and evenings based upon athletic and school events. Part-Time: up to 19.5 hours per week.

- Job-related education necessary to perform the essential job duties; one year related lifeguarding experience.
- CPR Certificate for the Profesional Rescuer
- First Aid/Title 22 Certification
- Lifeguard Certification
