Aquatic Facility Safety Supervisor
This is a part-time position. Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies. Duties include opening and closing the pool each day and evening, depending on schedule and hours. Monitor pool-related activities closely throughout the shift and identify any safety issues. Direct swimmers out of the pool in hazardous conditions. Monitor weather reports closely to ensure safety of guests. Oversee pool parties. Provide swimming lessons when available. Maintain a clean environment in and around the pool. Provide assistance to patrons when appropriate or necessary.
Requirements include current and valid ARC certification, First Aid and CPR certifications, and the ability to pass a pre-employment practical skills test in the water. Morning and weekend availability is required.
