Qualifications:
- Must possess the following certifications and keep all certifications current: Current Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Daytime/evening availability a must
- Must be 15 years of age or older
- Ability to demonstrate lifeguard skills in accordance with YMCA standards
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with members, staff and supervisors
- Have an outgoing, friendly approach that will lead and motivate members
- Ability to maintain a level of physical and mental readiness at all times
- Weekend availability a must- rotating weekend schedule
- Must attach Lifeguard Certificate to application
