1) Currently Red Cross certified in First Aide, CPR, and Lifeguarding.
Water Safety Instruction certification preferred (or be willing to obtain First Aide, CPR, and Lifeguarding certificate once hired, in which the district will, once only, reimburse up to $250 for initial certification within 45 days of hire date).
2) Successful completion of written and water test.
3) Skill in oral and written communication skills.
4) Experience working with children preferred.
Such alternatives to the above as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
