Position: Lifeguard
Availability: Summer and/or Afterschool Hours
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain continuous visual surveillance of all students and visitors in the pool and surrounding deck area.
- Enforce pool rules, safety guidelines, and district policies.
- Recognize and respond immediately to swimmers in distress, water emergencies, and potential safety hazards.
- Administer first aid, CPR, or AED when necessary, according to certified emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with the PAWS Summer and Afterschool program staff.
- Training will be available upon hire, if applicable.
- Salary: $17.50 per hour
