Key responsibilities Conduct underwriting audits and case reviews to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to guidelines Analyze medical, personal, and financial data to make final decisions on individual applications, with a delegation of authority of up to $8 million Evaluate automated underwriting engine outputs and update audit reviews as models evolve, identifying gaps in rules for actionable updates Required qualifications 10+ years of life insurance underwriting experience at a leading carrier or reinsurer Experience conducting various types of underwriting audits and case reviews, including post-issue audits Familiarity with automated underwriting engines, data inputs, and predictive models Strong analytical and technical skills for data analysis Proven ability to manage high volumes and collaborate with cross-functional teams
