Life Skills Paraprofessional
Johnson City ISD is accepting applications for a Life Skills Paraprofessional for LBJ Elementary School. Applicants must have a paraprofessional certification or be able to pass the appropriate district assessment for certification prior to being hired by JCISD. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required for certification. Excellent communication skills; experience or training in instructional support preferred. Up-to-date CPI training preferred. Special knowledge/skills include but are not limited to: ability to assist in instructing students under the direction of teacher; ability to work well with children; ability to communicate effectively; assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
