Job TitleThe ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable being pulled in multiple directions. This person should be able to stay organized across licensing deadlines, reporting due dates, internal requests, and regulatory requirements. They should be a strong team player who is willing to jump in, volunteer to help, and provide excellent customer service to internal business partners.
This role would be a strong fit for someone with hands-on mortgage licensing experience who understands NMLS, branch and LO licensing, renewals, DBAs, business licenses, and state reporting requirements. The team is especially interested in someone who can bring reporting experience or stronger technical/data skills, while still being comfortable with day-to-day licensing operations.Responsibilities:Manage company, branch, and LO licensing (applications, renewals, maintenance) through NMLS and state/local agenciesSupport business, city, and state licensing, including DBAs, shared spaces, and branch changesCoordinate onboarding/offboarding of licensed employees in NMLSTrack continuing education requirements for LOsMaintain accurate data across NMLS, LOS, and internal systemsSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including Mortgage Call Reports and state-specific reportingAnalyze licensing and mortgage data, flag discrepancies, and escalate issuesManage licensing deadlines, renewals, filings, and tracking spreadsheetsWork out of a ticketing system/shared inbox to support internal requestsPartner with internal teams (LOs, branch managers, compliance, etc.) to resolve licensing inquiriesStay up to date on regulatory changes and communicate updatesSupport compliance projects, process improvements, and reporting initiativesWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
