Licensed Wireman / Journeyman ElectricianSolar Electrician | Field-Based | Full-TimeSpartanX is seeking experienced Licensed Wireman and Licensed Journeyman Electricians to support residential solar installation and electrical operations across our active markets.This is a hands-on field role for licensed electricians who take pride in clean workmanship, safety, efficiency, and getting the job done right the first time. You'll perform and lead residential solar electrical work, troubleshoot field issues, commission systems, and ensure installations meet NEC and local code requirements.We're looking for electricians who can work independently, make sound decisions in the field, and represent SpartanX professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and field teams.What You'll DoInstall, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systemsPerform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar installationsInstall and work with panels, disconnects, breakers, conduit, wiring, and other residential electrical equipmentInterpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, one-lines, and system schematicsEnsure electrical work meets NEC standards, local codes, AHJ requirements, and company quality standardsTroubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficienciesPerform testing and verification of system functionality and electrical safetyIdentify field conditions that require electrical modifications or corrective workLead and support installation crews onsite when requiredMaintain accurate project documentation, photos, and completion recordsCommunicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal Operations teamsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWhat We're Looking ForActive Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license requiredStrong residential electrical experienceSolar PV experience preferredStrong understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshootingWorking knowledge of NEC requirementsAbility to read and interpret electrical plans and system documentationAbility to work independently and maintain productivity in the fieldStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipComfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and outdoors in varying conditionsProfessional communication and customer interaction skillsValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record requiredAbility to safely lift, carry, and move equipment throughout the workdaySchedulePrimarily Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required.What We OfferCompetitive performance-based compensation with strong earning potentialCompany truck for work-related travelCompany gas cardCompany-provided consumable tools and suppliesRelocation bonus for qualifying candidatesConsistent full-time workOngoing technical training and developmentCareer advancement opportunities within SpartanXSupportive field and Operations teams focused on safety, quality, and getting projects completed correctlyWhy SpartanX?Our electricians are a critical part of delivering safe, high-quality residential solar installations.
