Job Title

Licensed Vocational Nurse

Responsibilities

The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct nursing care to individuals and groups of patients according to physician orders and applicable patient care standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Graduate or Certificate from accredited program for Licensed Vocational Nursing.

Minimum Work Experience:

One year clinical experience required; acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Current licensure in Texas as a Licensed Vocational Nurse. Certified Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support within one year of hire suggested. Computer Skills.
