JOB SUMMARY
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is an integral member of the Breast Center team, providing compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the breast biopsy process. This position is responsible for preparing and caring for patients before, during, and after breast biopsy procedures while assisting the radiologist and maintaining an efficient workflow. The LVN also serves as a patient advocate by educating patients about recommended breast biopsies, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring a positive patient experience from diagnosis through treatment planning.
This position works in a fast-paced outpatient breast imaging center where teamwork, efficiency, and compassionate patient care are essential. The LVN will work closely with radiologists, mammography technologists, breast navigators, advanced practice providers, and referring physicians to ensure timely, high-quality care for patients undergoing breast biopsies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
- Completion of Vocational Nursing Program or Associate's Degree in Nursing
- 2 Years Experience
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Licensed Vocational Nurse Licensed in the State of Texas.
- Input data into computer programs.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Ensure excellent time and attendance.
