• End Date/Duration: 6-month contract
• Shift: Variable (Day, Evening, Night)
• Hours/Week: 40+ hours/week (varies by shift)
• Employment Type: W-2, Contract
• License/Certs: Valid LVN license in Texas required, AHA BLS
• Experience: Prior LVN experience preferred of 1 year

• Pay Rate: $37.50 per hour

• Provide direct patient care under supervision in a hospital setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
• Follow all safety and compliance protocols

Required:

• Valid LVN license in Texas
• Proven experience as a psychiatric mental health tech/aide
• Ability to work at Terrell State Hospital with patients having dual diagnoses
• Willingness to comply with HHSC immunization, drug testing, fingerprinting, and training requirements

Preferred:

• Experience in a hospital or acute care environment
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
