Valley Veterinary Emergency & Referral Center is a 24/7 award‑winning veterinary hospital seeking experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Our center is a newly renovated, 13,000+ square foot facility with dedicated staff and state‑of‑the‑art equipment (digital radiography and endoscopy) to offer the highest level of emergency and critical care.

Veterinary Technician (ER/CC) – CVT/RVT/LVT | $30 – $40/hr

Location: Winchester, VA

Compensation: $30 – $40 per hour • $2,500 sign‑on bonus

Schedule

• Three 12‑hour shifts or Four 10‑hour shifts
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• Relief shifts available!

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Intensive nursing care, including emergency surgeries
• Critical case monitoring and treatments
• Emergency case management
• Assist DVMs with diagnostics and treatment plans
• Perform laboratory testing (blood, urine, cytology)
• Support imaging and patient monitoring
• Perform and monitor anesthesia and sedation
• Deliver high‑quality patient and client care

Qualifications

• Certified, registered, or licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT)
• Preferred surgery experience
• Preferred emergency or critical care experience
• Strong technical and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced veterinary environment
