Licensed Therapist - VA

To support veterans and military members in navigating mental health challenges, the remote Licensed Therapist - VA will provide individual and group interventions, conduct psychosocial assessments, and deliver crisis management services as part of a contract role. Key responsibilities Provides individual and group interventions for patients coping with mental health diagnoses and psychosocial stressors Conducts thorough psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs and appropriate treatment plans Delivers emergency interventions and crisis management to stabilize patients experiencing mental health symptoms Required qualifications Must be licensed to practice independently in any state as a Psychologist, LPC, LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field, or a doctoral degree in psychology Minimum of 2 years of independent therapy practice experience Preferred experience providing therapy to veterans and military members Familiarity with DSM-5 clinical presentations and evidence-based psychological interventions
