Work Environment

This position offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely while being part of a supportive team dedicated to client wellness. Although you will primarily provide services from a remote setting, we maintain a strong connection through regular team meetings and case consultations. Our operations involve a community health clinic model, ensuring that you work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify each client's mental health needs, followed by the development of detailed, individualized treatment plans tailored to those needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapy services, leveraging a variety of therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and family therapy. For example, you may provide individual therapy sessions, group therapy sessions, or family therapy based on client needs.
• Collaborate closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s treatment and ongoing care.
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, applying your skills and compassion to help them navigate challenging situations effectively.
• Engage in community outreach efforts and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and enhancing community resilience.

As a mental health therapist with Healing Care Mental Health Solutions, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Qualifications

• A current, independent license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and develop trusting therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence, with the ability to effectively engage clients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills, allowing for accurate documentation and adherence to treatment plans within specified timelines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community mental health setting or working with underserved populations is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
• Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health education initiatives enhances your suitability.

Compensation and Benefits
