Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Continuum Therapy Partners is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team at Martha Franks Retirement Community in Laurens, South Carolina . This full-time opportunity allows you to provide speech therapy services for adult and geriatric residents while working in a supportive senior living community focused on improving communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall quality of life.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) , you'll collaborate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that help residents achieve their highest level of function.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, assess, and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on resident goals.
  • Perform dysphagia evaluations and provide evidence-based swallowing interventions.
  • Deliver cognitive-communication, speech, language, and voice therapy services.
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, federal, and company documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  • Current South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
  • Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or long-term care is preferred but not required.
  • New graduate Speech-Language Pathologists are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and organizational skills.
