As a remote Licensed Property Adjuster, the successful candidate will manage first and third-party claims under Root's Renters policy and third-party property damage claims, while enhancing the claims process through automation and app feature development. Key responsibilities Handles first and third-party claims, ensuring an industry-leading experience for policyholders and claimants Initiates, investigates, and negotiates property damage losses while creating accurate repair or replacement estimates Coordinates additional living expenses and oversees the salvage process, identifying subrogation opportunities Required qualifications 1+ years of experience handling property insurance claims and negotiating settlements Proficiency in XactAnalysis and Xactimate software for writing estimates and evaluating losses Current adjuster license in home state, with the ability to obtain additional licenses within three months Experience with desk adjusting and on-site inspections Familiarity with claims best practices and a strong sense of professionalism
