Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensed practical nurses are assistants to physicians and registered nurses and take care of basic nursing duties. Duties often include taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medication, ensuring patient comfort, and reporting the status of their patients to the nurses. The overall function of a licensed practical nurse is to ensure patient comfort and safety. Licensed practical nurses generally work at any location a registered nurse works such as: hospitals, nursing homes, long term care facilities or clinics.
Education/Requirements:
